9-29-14 Word of the Day - Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington Back On Top At The Box Office

It's been almost 30 years since the late Edward Woodward first graced American television screens as "The Equalizer," a lone crusader searching for justice for those the system had ignored or forgotten. Now, nearly three decades later, Denzel Washington answer the call, joins the crusade and takes "The Equalizer" to the top of the box office charts raking in an estimated 34.1 millions dollars in its opening weekend. This, by the way, is the 7th straight opening weekend for Washington where his efforts have earned in excess 20 million dollars for the period.  Not bad at all for an actor that many thought was on the verge of retiring.  It's also good enough to make him our Word of the Day inside the VIP Club.  Be sure to grab those points for some great winning inside the club at KMXI.COM.

9-25-14 Word of the Day - Taylor Swift

Now That's Some Serious Total Access!

When you hear Taylor Swift say she loves her fans, you gotta know she really loves her fans.  This past Saturday, she invited 30 of them into her Beverly Hills mansion......most of them total strangers.  Most of them were invited initially through Twitter and then verified by phone.  In a time when many celebrities do all they can to keep fans at arms length, Taylor has gone the opposite direction. Many of those who were invited were totally shocked at getting the invites and how approachable she was. They were equally thrilled after spending five hours with Taylor at her home and walking away from the experience with a bag a Swift branded merchandise and memories to last a lifetime. For that we make Taylor Swift our Word of the Day inside the VIP at KMXI.COM.  Rush on over and get your VIP Club Points now!

9-24-14 Word of the Day - Charlie Sheen

He's Baaaaaack.......Well Maybe

The now infamous blowup between two and a half men star Charlie Sheen and producer Chuck Lorre back in 2011 is now a distant memory for many, but apparently it is still on Charlie's mind. As the hit CBS sitcom nears its conclusion, Sheen has expressed a desire to be a part of the show for it ending.  He believes it would be good for the fans and a show of respect for the show itself. No word yet from Lore on his reaction to the idea.  CBS programming big wigs say there are no plans for a Sheen return. Who knows though. Strangers thingss have happened in Hollywood and this could too. We're alson making Charlie Sheen our Word of the Day inside the VIP Club at KMXI.COM. Don't forget to get those points today.

9-23-14 Word of the Day - Al Pacino

Al Wants To Be A What?

Over the span of his acting career, Al Pacino has been a lot of things. He's been a devil and he's been an angel. He's been serious and he's made us laugh until we cried. Al Pacino has done just about everything one could hope to do on the big screen.........except for one thing. It's something he has never done and apparently really wants to do now.  That's be in a Marvel superhero movie.  During a recent interview with Deadline, Pacino spoke of being a skeptic at first, but now a believer. Especially in the work that was done with Guardians of the Galaxy.  What would Pacino be like as a superhero? Or maybe the hero's nemesis?  We're not sure, but the possibilities could be fun to contemplate. Oh and don't forget, Al Pacino is our Superhero (Word) of the Day inside the VIP Club at KMXI.COM. Be sure and grab those points now!
